Why we built it

We're a small UK construction firm — too small for an H&S manager, too busy to wrestle with bloated enterprise software, and too sick of doing RAMS in Word at 9pm on a Sunday to keep doing it.

Every H&S app on the market is either built for the kind of firm with a compliance team, or it's a generic checklist tool that doesn't know what RAMS or CDM 2015 are. The procurement spreadsheet has 200 features. We use 12 of them.

So we built our own. Mobile-first because the foreman opens it in the van. Plain English because we're not compliance officers. Branded PDFs because Principal Contractors expect them. Offline because site reception is bad.

It worked. We use it every day. Friends in the trade asked if they could use it. So we're opening it up.

Who it's built for

We obsess over the 1–10 person UK firm — the builders doing kitchens, refurbs, M&E, scaffolding, groundworks, joinery, roofing. The firms that need proper RAMS but don't have an H&S manager to write them.

That's who we design for first. The app has also been run on Principal Contractor sites with 40 people on it and worked perfectly well — simple flows scale up cleanly; complicated ones don't. So if you're a bigger firm and the simplicity appeals, give us a try; you won't be the only one.

What we don't try to be is an enterprise compliance platform. If you need a 40-category template library, ISO 45001 audit trails, or multi-division access controls, you'll be better served by HandsHQ, SafetyCulture or Procore — those are built for that depth. We're a different shape: mobile-first, plain English, focused on getting RAMS issued and sites signed in, not paperwork as an end in itself.

Where we're going

The roadmap is short on purpose:

• Now (2026): Multi-tenant launch. RAMS builder. Branded PDFs. First 50 paying customers.
• Next 6 months: Native iOS + Android. CPP generator. Full COSHH library. Sign-off workflow with digital signatures.
• 12+ months: Training register with cert expiry. Xero / Hubdoc integrations. Analytics dashboard.

We're not going to bloat it. The thing that makes it useful is the thing that keeps it focused.
