Affiliate programme terms
These terms set out the basis on which you participate in the Safe and Sorted affiliate programme (the "Programme"). By applying and using your referral link or promo code, you agree to them.
1. Eligibility
- You must be 18 or over and resident in the United Kingdom (for UK tax-reporting reasons).
- You must apply with a real name, contact email, and either a PayPal or Wise account for payouts.
- You cannot apply on behalf of an organisation if you are not authorised to do so.
2. How commission works
For every paying customer attributed to you via your referral link, promo code or Rewardful cookie, you earn:
- £20 one-off bonus when they convert from trial to a paid plan.
- 20% recurring commission on every successful monthly payment for the first 12 months.
- 5% lifetime override on the commission earned by partners you brought into the Programme (paid for as long as those sub-partners remain active).
Attribution windows: 60-day cookie. If a customer clears their cookies or uses a different device without quoting your code, we may not be able to attribute the signup to you. We do our best, but cookie tracking has limits.
3. When commission is reversed
- If a customer cancels or refunds within their first 14 days, the bonus and any commission already earned for that customer is reversed.
- After 14 days, no clawback. Future months simply stop accruing.
- If a payment is charged back or marked fraudulent, the corresponding commission is reversed.
4. Payouts
- Commission accrues to your balance daily.
- Payouts run on the 1st of each calendar month once your balance reaches £25.
- Paid by PayPal or Wise to the account you registered with.
- Statement emailed with every payout.
- Balances under £25 roll forward until the threshold is met.
5. What you cannot do
- Refer your own business, accounts you control, or members of your household.
- Run paid ads bidding on "Safe and Sorted" or our trademarks.
- Generate fake signups, use bots, or otherwise game the tracking system.
- Imply you work for Safe and Sorted Ltd or speak on its behalf.
- Use the brand in ways that misrepresent the product (false claims about features, pricing, or compliance outcomes).
Breach of any of the above means revocation of your account and forfeit of unpaid balance.
6. Tax
You are responsible for declaring your affiliate income to HMRC. Safe and Sorted Ltd does not withhold tax at source. If you exceed the UK trading allowance (currently £1,000/year), you must self-assess. Payouts are gross of tax.
7. Termination
Either party can end your participation in the Programme with 30 days' written notice (email to hello@safeandsorted.com from your registered email, or from us to yours, is sufficient).
On termination: any commission already earned is paid out at the next scheduled payout date, subject to the £25 minimum. Future commission stops accruing.
Immediate termination for cause is allowed where you breach section 5 above. In that case, unpaid balance is forfeit.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms with 30 days' notice by emailing the address you registered with. Continuing in the Programme after that date counts as acceptance of the updated terms. If you don't accept, you can terminate as in section 7.
9. Liability
Safe and Sorted Ltd's total liability to you under these terms is capped at the total commission paid to you in the 12 months immediately before the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by English law. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
